How do you map your workouts?

Hey guys,
I am starting a sprinting program, along with a strength training program that I downloaded from a trainer online. I'm really excited, but it's a lot of alternating, and each workout is different. I'm trying to brainstorm a way that I can organize my workouts without having to rely on flipping around everyday through documents.
Just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to keep your workout schedule mapped out. I'm hoping to find something I can just pull out on my phone at the gym, but I'm not against keeping a journal if it comes down to it.
My goal is to lay out each day what I need to do, so that it is ready and waiting for me. I can set the date of my workout, and see exactly what I need to do that day.
How do you guys keep track of what you plan to do at the gym each day?

Hi there,
For your strength training program, you could try LiftRep, which is free (with ads, or you can turn them off with an in-app purchase):
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/liftrep/id665445505?ls=1&mt=8
Full disclosure- I wrote this app! I used to keep pen and paper notes, but made this for myself so I could always have my routines with me (along with my past records for reference) whenever I needed it. It's a workout log, plain and simple, so don't expect any exercise videos, etc.
If you want to plan ahead, start a specific workout, then press Edit, tap on the date, then adjust the date forward to when you plan to go to the gym. Then it will be in your list ready and waiting for you! You can do this for as many workouts as you like...
Sincerely,
Francis0 -
