Insanity Work out and Weight lifting

I've been doing insanity for over a month now and i was following the workout plan but i went on a vacation and stopped doing it for a week and now that i am back i decided to start all over and i really wanna start some weight lifting after my insanity work out. Any thoughts on this topic and if this will work to achieve better results?

    that's what im doing Insanity and then later in the day lifting weights if I could id be running for 15-20 minutes before I lifted but its too cold for that. I don't do anything super heavy lifting just hit the curling bar/ bicep curls/ tricep lifting the dumbbell up behind my head.
