Christian Music Playlists?

Hey all, always looking for some new songs for my playlist. I generally like to listen to Christian Hip Hop. I'll share what I have right now and would LOOOVE some new suggestions. I have a 4 mile run today and it would be great to have some new songs to get me through!

Right now I have a list something like this:

Gimme Dat - Ambassador
Til I collapse - Eminem
Move - Flame
5 seconds - Canton Jones
All my folk - Canton Jones
I believe God - D Maub
Zone Out - KB
I'm a creature - D Maub
What I've Overcome - Fireflight
For Those Who Wait - Fireflight
Anomaly - KB

Ok... not that I feel the need to defend myself, but I do listen to the edited version. And if you know that song, it basically talks about going until your legs collapse and you can't go anymore.... So....

As my mom says, "Take what you want and leave the rest....."

I love Lecrae :) He has lots of awesome stuff. His first song that I heard was Jesus Music. My husband is a musician so I turned him on to Lecrae....
  • I also like Thousand Foot Krutch and Toby Mac :)

I don't listen to hip hop but I do like R&B - MaryMary, Mandisa, and Kierra Sheard would all be good. CeCe Winans has an amazing song called "Pray" which is very uplifting.

You could also try Christian reggae - Papa San and Stitchie make some more upbeat stuff.
  • Some of my favs...

    Newsboys:
    - Save Your Life
    - God's Not Dead (Like a Lion)
    - Shine

    tobyMac:

LeCrae would fit nicely into your list.

If Lecrae is not a part of your Christian Hip-Hop rotation, then why are you listening to Christian Hip-Hop?

    Track Suggestions:
    The Fever (CC2)
    Round of Applause (CC2)
    Fuego (Gravity)
    Don't Waste Your Life (Rebel)
    I'm a Saint (Rebel)
    Battle Song (Rehab: The OD)
    Chase That (Rehab: The OD)

Christian music is not exactly my thing, but I have a couple Skillet songs on my running playlist. Hero and Awake, I think.
I also like Thousand Foot Krutch and Toby Mac :)

Thousand Foot Krutch - Move is great for that last burst of energy.

All good tracks in a vacuum, but most of those (save "Go Hard") wouldn't motivate me in the gym or running. To each their own. :-)

TFK is AWESOME. "Move" and "Rawkfist" are GREAT tracks, and you certainly don't have to be a Christian to enjoy them (same goes for Lecrae.)

I appreciate Christian artists, but even moreso appreciate good MUSIC that bridges the gaps of genres...

I'm not a massive fan of Christian music (being a non believer and such) but there are some decent Christian Rock bands.

Skillet has already been mentioned but bands like Switchfoot (especially their songs Afterlife and Dark Horses) and Relient K have some good and upbeat tunes to work out to
