NutriBullet - feedback please

Hi all... has anyone bought the NutriBullet (in Australia it's almost $300) and if so, what is your feedback? My husband really wants one but I want to get feedback on if its just another gimmick or actually beneficial for weight loss.
Cheers

Not gimmick. Do a search on MFP and other shopping sites like amazon.com. Worth investing.
  • I have a magicbullet which is very similar and they're really awesome for smoothies. I never ever ever ate greens before, but now I just throw in an apple and drink them. It's perfect for me.
  • I bought a nutri bullet a few months ago and I absolutely love it. I do smoothies, my protein shakes, grind seeds and nuts with it, I've even done milk shakes with it. The only draw backs is I wish it came with a 2nd big cup, but I think you can find a set on Amazon with a 2nd big cup.

I absolutely love my NutriBullet. I was specifically looking for a blender that was powerful enough to blend fresh vegetables, so I didn't have to use my juicer to break them down anymore (a much longer process, lots more clean up), and the NB handles very well. I have never owned a VitaMix, but I would say the NB is several notches above a blender but possibly a couple below the VM.

I got one for Xmas from my hubby and have used it almost daily since then. My usual breakfast shake/smoothie is
    spinach
    carrots
    banana
    berries
    flaxseed

This keeps me full for about 3 hours and I know I got in a good portion of my fruit/veggies.
I also like to add protein powder sometimes and now I am using it to make baby food as well. Definitely worth the investment.
