I walk aroudn 5-8 miles a day when the weather is good and lately it has been bad and cold and I don't like to walk when it is cold and I'm gonna start making my self go back to planet fitness adn do cardio and weights every other day. Please help me.

Don't ask me, I eat frozen dinners. Lol. But one quick and easy thing to do is throw some chicken seasoning on a chicken breast and cook it in the skillet. And ready-made salad, of course.

Have you checked out skinnytaste.com or emilybites.com? Both have lots of yummy, healthy recipes. If you don't like to cook and eat out a lot, try to always browse menus online before you go to the restaurant so you can choose a calorie-friendly option to order.

I don't use menus, and I don't even really use recipes. I stock up on proteins at Costco and buy fresh veggies every week at the local supermarket, then I mix and match all week long. We rarely include carbs for dinner.

We eat most of our veggies roasted and I am learning to experiment with spices.I recently learned that my husband will swoon over anything sauteed with olive oil, onion and garlic.

Fish pairs well with spinach (tonight I used Tasty Bites Kashmir Spinach, plus some of our own frozen stuff) and broccoli.
Chicken pairs well with every veg that I know of.
Lentils with taco seasoning will make a yummy taco salad.

One of my go to things is to brown ground turkey with onion, then add cabbage and tomato (spices vary). It is basically a cabbage roll without the fuss of boiling the cabbage to roll it (hubby has requested that bread be served with this, now). Yesterday I did something similar, but I added cheddar cheese and served it with a dollop of mayo. It was a bit like a Big Mac casserole. We also fill up on just ground turkey with tomato sauce - more meat than sauce, no pasta, served with a bit of parmesan. All the flavor of your favorite spaghetti, 1/3 the calories. Even better with extra onion.

Do you like chile? There are all sorts of nice, healthy variations on it.

I do a little Tuscan thing that's yummy that you probably wouldn't think of:

    1 onion (chopped)
Lots of garlic (to taste or 2 cloves, chopped)
Italian sausage (a little or a lot; whatever you like). Fennel seasoned is awesome in this.
Brown the bite-sized pieces of sausage (highish heat) and then saute the onions and garlic in the (same big) pot on lower heat. Add a bit of olive oil if you need it or like it

Chicken stock (a cup or so???)
2 cans of cannellini beans, drained
Italian seasoning or fresh herbs to taste (Italian style)
    ^^^ add those

Simmer for ages (or minimum 25-30 minutes) on lower heat. Mmmmm :) The longer you can simmer, the better it is, but do add more water/stock/white wine as needed. If you have to do the quick version, make sure to cook it high enough that the meat will get done inside.

HTH someone :) It's really easy and yummy even if you aren't big on most beans.

Losing weight is about getting what you eat right - dont worry too much about the exercise part.
