What Should I Eat Right Now?

So I'm kind of hungry now and I'm just wondering... My vices are cheese, bread, and beer and I usually consume a lot of bread and cheese not only because I like it but because they're the most readily available things to eat at my house.
Today I've had:
Coffee
Small glass of coconut milk
Water
Small piece of "butter cake" don't really know what all is in it, doesn't sound healthy, with blueberries(a really small piece)
One strip of bacon
Single Egg
Plastic cup of grapefruit(no added sugar)
Potato(with butter)
Handful of crispy bread/cracker things w/ olive oil and balsamic vinegar
A few Pistachios(salted)

So I don't have a lot of choices at the moment. I have tuna, cheese, tortillas, tortilla chips, eggs, bread, peanut butter(skippy or something), jam, butter... other than these things there are things much less healthy(don't even have a desire to consume) or things that I don't have the time to prepare right now(like dried beans)
There's this cream of wheat stuff that's prepackaged and I think will have preservatives and stuff, I dunno, would that be a big deal compared to other things I've named or nothing(if it would be wiser not to eat compared to what I have, I can do that cause I'm not starving and if I just have some tea and go to bed soon I'll be fine, like it's late so I'm not gonna be using up a lot of energy at this point)?
There are some corn flakes I could have, maybe I could use the coconut milk... are corn flakes good for you?
The final option is this left over dish with rice, cheese, chicken and peppers.
What sounds best? I know I haven't had any cheese today but normally I have some with every meal like on an average day I might have an omelet for breakfast then pizza or mac and cheese or some other pasta that probably has some cheese, grilled cheese, something like that. If it isn't cheese it'll at least have bread like soup with bread or something. Yesterday I had one egg with salsa, then 2 homemade chicken tacos(flour tortillas, cheese, salsa, sour cream, little bit of lettuce, onion, fresh tomato) then a chicken enchelada from a restaurant with rice, beans, a lot of cheese... That's more like my normal diet(usually less meat, actually) than what I've eaten today. Sorry if I go on and on... we don't have any veggies except some lettuce that kinda belongs to my sister's rabbit. Thank you!

  • Oh, we also have popcorn(I could make it on the stove with no butter or salt, just olive oil) would that add any kind of balance at all to what I've already eaten today?

If you're going for balance, it sounds like you should prioritize protein, since the only thing you've eaten today with any significant protein content was the egg. Maybe a tuna sandwich with only one slice of bread (or a tuna wrap on a tortilla)? Scrambled eggs or egg whites would also be good.

I say go for the leftover rice/cheese/chicken/peppers dish, to get some much-needed protein and what is apparently the only vegetable in the house not earmarked for the rabbit
If you've got any tomatoes left from yesterday and the chicken tacos, have some of those too.
  • I'll go for the leftovers so I can save the tuna for tomorrow! Thank you guys!
