Should I sack off the gym and just stick with my diet?

THIS IS SUCH A DILEMMA.

I love the gym, but I can barely manage to drag myself in there. I'm paying each month for it and I don't know whether its really worth it, as I don't have the commitment to go every day. Also, whenever I do manage to go, I just come home and eat everything because I feel like I deserve it after such a tough work out.

After all, I can of course just go for a jog 3 times a week and save myself some money.

Should I just stick with my 1200kcal a day diet and forget about the gym for the moment?

what are my options?

Eat 1500 cal a day & go to the gym and don't be lazy about it.

Find a workout buddy or enroll in some exercise classes.

You are paying for it, that would be enough motivation for me to hit the gym and you should feel lucky you can afford a membership like some of us (i.e. me).

Try finding a 3x or 4x a week schedule so you don't feel overwhelmed in the gym.

BodyBuilding.com has plenty of great routines built for women. Just remember you won't get "bulky" as so many women fearfully shout that they will "look like a dude". Your body doesn't produce enough testosterone to end up looking like Jay Cutler or Kai Greene.

It doesn't sound like you love the gym at all if you have a hard time dragging yourself in there. If you loved the gym you would look forward to it. It's not for everyone, and nothing says you have to have a gym membership to be in shape. If there's something else you would rather do then do it. Personally, I pine for quality time with a bar-bell, because I love the gym.

Why don't you have the commitment? If the only thing standing in your way is your own attitude, then you need to work on that. Also finding something you like doing at the gym helps - I find working with a trainer and doing classes helps me stay committed and interested.
