Hey Im new to all this, just gained a ridiculous ammount of weight after going to rehab and I was wondering if there are any people out there in the same boat who want to be friends and encourage eachother. I attend AA NA CMA and HA so it would be awesome to lose weight with someone in the program.

Feel free to add or message me, I will always reply

One day at a time :)

  • Omg! I am going through the same thing! I got sober from opiates and benzodiazepines April 2012 and I have gained 65 lbs! I went to the doctor and she told me my body was in shock from not eating hardly anything for the 4 years I was drugging. This is so frustrating. I have finally cut out sugars and starches and lost 13 lbs but I have a long way to go. I am in drug court so I can't take diet pills because I get drug tested but I want to so bad but they can cause false positives. Good luck and hang in there :)

Congratulations guys! I'm so happy to hear that you took that first step in improving your lives. It's a struggle that I've watched my mother go through but it's definitely worth it. Addiction is a hard habit to break. Good luck with your new diets!

I'm going through the same thing. I gained 50 pounds after my stay in detox and rehab. Life got real and I got fat. Is this normal? I want to exercise but I feel like I have no energy nor motivation. I would like get moving, I love to exercise.
