So yesterday I had two NSV! (Non scale victories).
1) I have such a crutch for this local ice cream place (Twisty Treat). I mean just look at the building below. I have to pass by it EVERY SINGLE DAY on the way to & from work. Ugh. Anyways...

Ever since I made the resolution to become healthier I have only visited Twisty Treat only once for a reward and that's my plan is to visit them and eat the ice cream every month or two months and last night I ended up there with my wife to fulfill her craving and me having a medium sized cone of vanilla did NOT fit my macros and it was not time for me to have a planned cheat treat. I was already at my calorie limit for the day and I completely resisted ordering even their one serving "bite-sized" cone. It's literally a drop of ice cream in a cone about 2" big. This to me showed that I can have self-control over cravings and not ordering "just because everyone else got one".
2) I posted a picture to my Instagram the other day of me, smiling and a few of my friends I went to high school with started commenting & asking me how I was losing weight and that I am looking a lot thinner. This is the first time asides from my wife's grandmother that somebody is noticing my weight loss.
Very excited on this & can't wait to keep pushing forward. I have a cruise to look forward to so for the next 52 days I'm going to kick *kitten* on counting calories, exercising and staying positive. Clothes shopping before the cruise will be great.

Nicely done! I have found even though these victories seem small, they can be monumental in the long run. You are empowering yourself to make better choices. Keep up the good work.0

Oh how difficult to drive past there twice a day....can you take a different route? I avoid certain places/ street so there's less temptation...0

Good for you!
I would say to carry on driving past there to take it's perceived power away. It's just another building in the end)

Nice NSV!
You're right, it is empowering to do things that remind you that you are in control.0
