DIGESTION
WALKSMARATHONS

It just occurred to me that I have perhaps made a new weight loss discovery. Most people have some sort of digestive problem due to the proliferation of negative microbes which build up due to poor diet, lifestyle, antibiotics and chlorinated water. 70% of our immune system is in our digestive tract and it cannot function without the proper balance of good and bad bacteria. The average body contains about 7 pounds of bacteria; about 80% should be good and less than 20% should be bad. Flour, Sugar, Alcohol all cause the bad bacteria to thrive and they eventually take over the good. This situation results in all kinds of health problems, including obesity. When food is not digested properly, the nutrients our bodies need cannot enter. It is nutrients which help the body to stay in shape and maintain an ideal weight. Unfortunately, although nutrients remain unabsorbed, the garbage portion of food is readily absorbed. I started experimenting with probiotics 4 months ago and have experienced some amazing results. Probiotics introduce huge numbers of good bacteria into the system and it eventually regains its health.

Interesting. When you say experimenting with probiotics, do you mean eating yogurt?0

Are you a salesman for probiotics?
What are they? How do I clear up my digestive system? I was just thinking about this today actually. I was wondering how much of my weight loss hurdles were due to me not digesting food well. I have always had digestive problems. I only expel waste maybe twice a week.0 -

Eat naturally fermented foods which are hard to come by in this day and age so I take good quality capsules.0 -

Yogourt, Kefir and Sauerkraut or any naturally fermented non pasteurized will do but they are hard to come by so I take capsules.0 -
