Are you 4 feet tall? because even then 92 pounds would probably be underweight. Aside from that, yes, counting calories is pretty effective for weight loss. But I'm just wondering why you have a 5 month timer on your journey? It sounds as if you're one of the many who simply want to fit into a new dress/bikini/etc by a certain date. That itself is a recipe for disaster because ideally you want to be looking at this as a lifestyle change. I think it'd be best if you re evaluated why you want to drop to an unhealthy weight in such a time frame.0

Im about 5'5 and it doesnt neccesarily need to be 5 months and no im not that kind of person that just want to fit in a dress/bikini/etc!
Just want to be healthier0 -
Where did you get 92 pounds from? Unless you're a 12 year old (in that case you should not be using this site) that is a totally UN realistic and un healthy Weight. What is your height etc then people may be able to help you go for more realistic and healthy goals0

Ok 92 pounds would put your bmi at 15 which is incredibly unhealthy at 143 pounds you are already at a healthy bmi so the upper end. You need to reassess your goals and concentrate on fitness not weight that way you'll look good and be healthy0

I am 5'5" - my target weight is 135 - 140lbs - When I was you younger - I was a curvy 112lbs - So maybe somewhere in between - dont go under 110lb - not healthy and it wont look pretty. Perhaps a slow loss of ten lbs or so added to toning up will work best for you. Keep us posted!0 -
