Hi Everybody~

HI all!

I'm a 43 year old male who has been fat most of his life. Last 8 (ish) years I've been up and down the scale

245 ->169 -> 232 -> 198->235-> 228

I've always been able to shed weight when I put my mind to it, though about 2 years ago I was diagnosed with IBS and since then losing weight has been like pulling teeth. So, I'm trying this again (first two losses were done on Weight Watchers).

I love the MFP phone app and the web site, so in the last 6 (ish) weeks I've dropped 'only' 7 lbs but its been better than what I've been able to lose since my diagnosis.

    thats a great start!!! doesnt happen overnight! I used to think that and got so discouraged all the time! Support is the best thing for me!! You can rock this!! Good luck!!
  • i am the same way.. when i put my mind to it i can loose weight.... just getting that right mind set is a challenge then it seems to come back over night.. but this time i a determined to do it and keep it off.. i dont need the added low energy and fatigue.. i have been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis for over ten years now. Fatigue is always there so i dont want to make it any worst then it already is... i wish you luck and hope you can achieve your goals like i intend to do.
