Has anyone actually lose weight with insanity? I want to lose weight mainly in my abdomin and get a more shapely butt.

Yes, it works. But know, you can't spot reduce on where you lose weight, and usually....belly fat is the last to go.0

It works as much as you are willing to work. Half-assed effort will yield half-assed results.0

Beachbody products work, but as the previous people said. You must commit yourself to the program. They are not easy, but they bring awesome results. Like a previous post replied, half efforts will get half results. As T. Horton would say "just keep pushing play!"0

Just like any regimen that involves a high-intensity workout 6 days a week, you should definitely see results. I am halfway through and can attest that I have already seen some decent gains in my fitness level and my body (my abs are starting to show!). And apparently the second half is supposedly where most people see most of their gains (my friend went from slim & athletic looking to having a full on six-pack). That being said, your results will depend a great deal on where you're starting from (do you need to lose 25+ lbs?) and , of course, your diet. After an intense workout, I know I'm frequently tempted to pig out. Don't do that...0

I'm wanting to lose 30 and I am not athletic whatsoever.0

It definitely delivers results! But like everyone else already mentioned, it's really intense, and basically, you get back what you put in. It's an amazing program though, and Shaun T is a great and motivating trainer. If Insanity is too much for you to start with, you could try his other program, T25 and then build your way up. I have both programs, and have had great results with both. Message me if you want to talk more about either program!0

I'm doing a beach body workout right now called T25. I can tell you I know many success stories on all these workouts. yes they work, and they are hard work but so worth it!!!
It's true, you can't decide where the weight comes off, and belly is the last place. However, the T25 Beta is AMAZING for toning and strengthening. Let me know if you have questions and if I can't help, my coach certainly can, pleus provide even more great success stories.0 -
Insanity works great! I lost about 15 pounds doing it, and it was the first exercise program I ever did. I was not athletic whatsoever, so don't worry about being athletic! As long as you are consistent, and you eat well, you will see great results! Let me know if you have any questions about Beachbody products. I've pretty much done them all: Insanity, P90, P90X, Turbofire, Turbojam, and T25. haha0

I'm doing Insanity right now and I'm only on week 3 but I have seen some pretty awesome results. I really have only lost 3 lbs but I've also lost 3 inches while I've been at it (Mostly in my midsection) and I'm definitely shrinking. I feel strong when I do it. But as everyone else has said, it is HARD. I went from zero cardio into Insanity and for the first week I couldn't walk because I was so sore. But now I love it and plan on going all the way through the 60 days and hope to get even better results!! Add me if you'd like, i post and update every day0

Of the ones you've tried, which one would you recommend the most, for a balance of sustainability for a beginner and results?0
