I am considering buying a Fitbit Flex. I have read many reviews and think its what I am looking for. I use MapMyWalk often and it recently has synced up to work with MFP. Yay! Anyway, does anyone know if I can set it up so that MapMyWalk records to MFP and MFP in turn records to the Fitbit? I don't want duplicate exercise recording. What I do want is a more accurate idea of how many calories I burn when I am taking my walks. Anyone have insight on this?

you burn 1 calorie per hundred steps on a flat gradient, 1.3 up up hill and 0.6 downhill, wind direction can make these figures almost irrelevant, best to walk uphill on a calm day or walk between buildings of at least 30 meters in height, walking backwards can help but be careful crossing the road

Yes, once paired MapMyWalk will sync to MFP that will then sync to Fitbit.

Thank you everyone. I decided not to get one for now. I realized it isn't compatible with my iPhone 4. I may get one when I upgrade in December :o)
