How many of you go over your sodium intake or the max?

    I only go over or come near it when I'm eating processed foods. If I'm cooking for myself I get about half way for the entire day.

    I go over some days, especially if I eat out. Even lower calorie meals out are loaded with sodium!

    I eat like almost to the max and I don't eat much processed foods. I normally cook everything homemade. Some of the dinners I make the sodium is between 600 to 900mg and I never add salt. It's hard to try and stay around your calories when your sodium is high.

    I tend to go over or just under the max. Processed foods are my worst enemy. If I make it myself I do better. When I go over I try to drink more water to flush it out. If that actually works, I'm not sure. I does seem to help.

    If I eat out, I'm always over the max, so I make sure to drink 10-12 glasses of water rather than just 8.

    When I cook at home on a normal daily basis, I'm hardly ever over. Yesterday I was only at I think barely 1,000mg. The big thing is to make sure you shop from the outer edges of the grocery store. Everything in the aisles is processed to the hilt which is all sodium.

    ya i always watch my sodium.. I actually majored in personal training. Its hard to put together meals that doesn't give to much sodium.
