I am starting the process of getting ready for weight loss surgery. I am working on losing my 5% before I can meet the surgeon. I am down 3 lbs have 17 more to go. I am working hard to achieve this dream of mine. Starting on monday my mom and I are doing a mini challenge to lose 20 lbs first. I can do it.

Morning! I have more than 100lbs to lose, lost 12 so far. I don't follow a specific diet. Trying to eat healthy (less) and move more. I love exercise, it's just a case of organising work and family life so I can fit in as much as possible! Good luck on your journey0

Good luck with the challenge and meeting the requirements for pre-surgery. I contemplated the idea before starting on MFP myself, because of the amount of weight I had to lose as well as my (past) health issues. But after burning off 38 lbs, I went back to my doctor and got my blood work done. Everything was at good to excellent levels. Even cured my Gout (if there is such a thing).
