Washing your polar ft4

How do you wash your strap? I remember it said to wash it after every five or so uses. I only got mine about a week and a half ago and I've been rinsing it after every use but because the instructions about the washing machine were kinda vague I've just been reading up on it and I see a lot of different advice. So what do you do? Should I just put it in a lingerie bag and throw it in the washing machine on warm water or? I read not to let it spin dry - pardon my ignorance but doesn't my washing machine always spin dry so the clothes aren't dropping wet? Thanks in advance!!

    In for replies; I've just been rinsing it well with warm water.

    Just rinse it in the shower or in the sink with a little soap.

    If you use a lingerie bag, it should be fine in the washer, you just don't want it to get stretched out.

    (remove the transmitter first)

    I think another thing to remember if you wash it in the washer is to not use fabric softener.
