Hi Folks!
I have been using MFP on and off for a awhile, but I have started going to the gym and being very diligent the last month or so about weight loss, so I plan to use it everyday. I just noticed when I update the app, it told me the my calories have been increased to 1370, so I checked to make sure my fitness goals were still the same, and they are. Why would it change my daily calories?
Thanks so much!

If you have lost a significant amount of weight, (the phone app) will / should give you a message stating that you should update your goals based on your lost weight. Did you do that, or possibly accidentally agree to it? I have been putting it off, but it's been reminding me for the past few mornings that I should. Maybe next time I will.0

As you lose weight, change activity levels or set how much weight you want to lose, your Calorie goals will change. The fitness goals you listed on MFP are just what you'd like to do, but have no bearing on your actual calorie goal.0

Thanks for your replies! I did accidentally close some window when I was trying to get to my food diary and that was when the calories changed, but I checked my fitness goals, and they are the same, and I have only lost about 15 lbs overall. I am afraid to go ahead and eat the extra calories and stall any loss I have, in case I messed something up. Lol. I have been logging in more workouts, but my fitness goals still say lightly active. Strange. I shouldn't obsess about it, but I have been staying on course so well, and don't want to go backwards. Thank you so much!
