Comfy, non skin tight exercise pants for big girls???

I refuse to wear the skin tight yoga or compression style pants. I would probably scare small children and animals. But the loose or regular fitting exercise pants always fall down if I work out. Ugh! I can tie up a drawstring, or buy a smaller size.. doesn't matter. Any suggestions?

Today my pants actually fell off when exercising. Thank god I was at home! I do probably need a smaller size in these, but... yesterday when walking around the neighborhood in my smaller sized pants, they were sliding too.

I loooooove the Old Navy wide-leg yoga pants. They don't look like yoga pants, they're super-comfy, I think they're pretty stylish as well, plus *pockets*!

  • This is such a problem for me too! I started wearing tight pants because I don't care but - I have found the that exercise pants at LL bean are flattering, not too tight and don't fall down.

I'm a fan of Old Navy for workout pants, I was getting them from target but had problems with them loosening up as I wore them and that=potential wardrobe malfunctions as you mentioned! Old Navy is decently priced, made better than the target stuff so they don't wear out as quick and come in a variety of fits so you should be able to find something that isn't too form fitting but wont fall down.... I refuse to pay for underarmor stuff, especially as I'm still shrinking!

Honestly though don't be afraid to try on the compression style pants, I swear by them!! I HATE HATE HATE to feel my jiggly bits jiggling when I run so the tighter the better for me. I had to try on a few pairs to find one that didn't turn my jiggly bits into sausage-y rolls but it made a big difference in how I felt while training :)

I also have a few old navy yoga pants. I recently bought some C9 pants from Target and like those.
