getting back on the band wagon

I lost my motivation lately to exercise. I was still watching my diet and not gaining weight except I was retaining a lot of water. I gained 14 lbs. in 3 days. The weather has started getting a little better and decided to get my butt in gear and exercise. I had noticed I was gaining inches around my belly and felt bloated. I started exercising 3 days ago and what a difference. I have lost the water gain and my belly is smaller. I can fit in my jeans better and people are noticing. Moral to the story is you can take a few days off but not a month and if you do you can get it back quickly if you don't give up.

Good for you getting back to it! I was carrying a lot of water weight after Christmas and found that coconut water was helpful it shifting water weight. I have it everyday now as I am quite prone to water retention.0
