Hello ladies! How are you doing? For those of you from the U.S., you're gearing up for a big holiday this week, filled with yummy treats and lots of temptation. I don't have an excuse like a holiday to eat a little extra, but I still manage to do it anyway!

I'm down to 181 - yay! I think my goal of drinking the 8 glasses of water is working. Plus I've also stopped drinking coffee which gets rid of 1 tablespoon of cream for each cup (I have tried drinking it black, I just can't do it). I've been taking a mini break from Jillian Michaels, my knee and left shin has been hurting, but I've been using the elliptical. I have an especially inspiring MFP who can stay on that blasted machine for 50 minutes. I'm no where near that yet, but I'll get there eventually!

I hope that you are all doing well, and feeling healthy, and staying motivated. Hang in there my friends - remember, we can do this!

  • the ellipitcal is amazing!!! I usually do 30 minutes on it on the weight loss button. But then someone showed me the spint 8 button and wow...I think I like it better cuz I sweat more!! it has become one of the machines that I love to hate!!

    Hello Heidi & Everyone!

Had a great week dietwise! I bumped up the exercise a bit, and burned 4191 calories with Jillian Michaels this week! (My goal was 3500.) I also dropped 2.8 lbs. this week! So after 3 weeks, I've lost 3.8 pounds total! That's pretty exciting.....I wish it were more, but that's what I've got.

I have toned up a lot in the past 3 weeks.....shredding 1/2 inch from my waist; 1 inch from my hips; and, 3/4 inch from my thigh!
Phew! No wonder I'm tired today!!! =)

So, along with adding the 30 Day Shred program to my daily routine, and drinking massive amounts of water, I've given up Diet Pepsi and alcohol! Well, I had one drink last night (and was up in my weight today)....but haven't had any all week. So, I will say given up Diet Pepsi, and significantly cut down on my alcohol consumption! I think the small changes add up to big changes!

I had a good week....it was TOM and with taking persons advice of drinking plenty water I was able to excercise through it all and the cramps werent bad at all....

Yesterday when I weighed in I gained 2 lbs (185lbs) but I didnt record it becuase I figured it was bloating ...I weighed again this morning and I was back to 183lbs.....

Although I havent had any weight lost, I am happy becuase I didnt gain and I was able to keep active...... never before had I been able to conquer TOM now I have

Good morning!! So I have lost a total of 7 pounds since we have started the challenge! I am super excited about it and am looking forward to seeing the scale continue to move downward. I am a bit nervous about Thanksgiving. That is a lot of temptation for a few days. Thanksgiving is longer than one day if you are with family! You have to keep eating up all of those leftovers!! :)

I am nervous because on Tuesday night I head to my sisters house and will not have internet access unless I go into town (she lives out of town and has crappy internet access). I feel that MFP is the main reason I have done so well at this point and I hate that I won't be able to log each meal after I eat it. I plan to write it down manually and then enter it later. We will see how that goes. Wish me luck!!! :)
  • Well, only four of our ladies have checked in. How are the rest of you doing? Good moments, bad moments, hanging in there? I hope you are all doing well and staying warm! (I only say that because I'm freezing, and don't wish this on anyone!!)

We're not done yet - we have an entire month! Don't give up!
  • Finally seeing some results. Down a total of 2.7 lbs since the start of this challenge...less than 10 lbs to go to my goal weight..YEAH!!!

This looks like an exciting forum. I need motivation for losing 12 pounds by Christmas, so I am joining this group.

Not consuming my exercise calories has been really helpful. It's hard sometimes, but its worth it. I started this forum at 158 pounds, and I have lost 1 so far.

Will weigh in tomorrow. I feel a better luck coming then as opposed to today because of the very healthy but high in salt dinner I had last night at a restaurant.

What day is weigh-in? I tend to check my weight daily. I have lost another pound towards my goal. I don't eat past 7 pm, and it has been helping a lot.

Started this challenge at 158 pounds, and I currently weigh 152 pounds. I have lost 6 pounds during this challenge. Holiday preparations have been making it difficult to stick to regimen, but I wouldn't mind to lose a couple of more pounds by Christmas if possible.
  • Congratulations on your loss! That's great work!
