Hi! I'm really trying to get into exercising. I was into some sports when I was younger, but now it's hard for me to get motivated to exercise. I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions for beginner exercisers? It's winter where I'm located, so not a whole lot I can do outside right now, but I'll welcome those suggestions too. Thanks :)

You can start with the Walk Away The Pounds videos which can be found on Youtube. You march on the spot and do a few movements and without realizing it, you actually will have walked a mile, which is a good way to get back into shape. Then you can try the 2 mile and the 3 mile. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=walk+away+the+pounds+1+mile&sm=1

You could also do Yoga for Beginners if you want a relaxing and stretching exercise : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0o0kNeOyH98 Some people find Yoga boring but it is really rejuvenating and it becomes addictive once you give it a chance.

I liked the elliptical for starting my exercise. You can adjust the level, speed and intensity to suit your needs. I use the stationary bike for those mornings I just can't motivate myself to get moving. Those mornings when I don't even wanna stand for 30-45 mins, much less exercise. I cut myself some slack and do a light, low resistance workout on the bike. Once you get a little more used to it, you can build up to daily running and weights.
