It seems on average i eat around 70-90 grams of sugar a day but around 80% of this is just from fruit! This is the only category i go over on every single day and that little red number bugs the hell outta me.
I don't even eat that much, i have about 4 portions a day but it's putting me double over my recommended allowances. Should i cut down on the apples and bananas or take no notice?

    I would take no notice.

You get tons of vitamins, minerals and fibre from fruits.

I think I read somewhere that MFP has a low sugar threshold anyways.
  • This is just my opinion.... I am doing low carbs and many fruits are very high in carbs and sugar ...... specially apples and bananas. Stay away from the fruit for awhile it may help you.

I don't even track sugar. I track fiber instead. Unless you have a medical condition that requires monitoring it, you already track it through carb, so I'd just track something else so you don't have to look at it.
