is there a way to enter "steps" on a pedometer

2000 steps is approximately a mile. So time walking and steps taken could be converted to mph which is in the cardio section. Mph for x minutes equals calories burned.0

Your pedometer should estimated cals burned. You can create a new exercise Walking/Steps (Pedometer) and cals burnt.0
