OK Logansmummy, It's time to do something. First thing you have to do is commit to logging your diet honestly and accurately. You can't lose weight if you do not know what you're eating and how many calories you consumed. Take two weeks to perfect logging and hitting your deficit goals. Too many people try to do everything at once and end up getting burned out. Set a reasonable deficit as your goal…two pounds a week may be too much for you. You have to find something you can stick to.
Next step exercise, start out with short walks. Use one of the free apps to track it and set some goals for two weeks. Exercise is going to allow you to eat a little more and will help refocus your efforts.
Track your weight and measurements, take before pictures, read the success stories, always stay positive and do your best. There are going to be bumps in the road, times when you want to binge but all you have to do is focus on doing your best for four weeks. After four weeks of doing your best you will start to see results. Only you can decide you want to get healthy and make a change, only you can do this. You CAN do this if you really want it, so do it!0 -

Agreed.
Also want to add - no one can give you the motivation to do this, it needs to come from within. Try writing down your goals and your reasons for those goals. Don't feel like going to the gym today? Take out what you've written and read it.0 -

It really does all come down to you. I'm a huge believer in writing down goals. This helps you commit to them. I keep mine posted at my desk so I am always reminded to keep my eyes on the prize, so to speak.
In addition to the above suggestions, I'd recommend finding an accountability partner. Someone with similar goals that also needs support. Give each other support via text, email, etc. This really does help!
Best of luck0 -
