Booster Juice Post workout?

I go to world health club and one of the locations has a booster juice in it. I haven't had a booster juice in a LONG time so I figured I'd have a look @ the nutrition content and see if any were reasonable post workout drink/meal replacement. OMG the sugar content in even a small smoothie is AT LEAST 20g. However some of them are made with whey and have a lot of protein. I walked away and decided to do some research first before indulging. Anyone have some advice for me? Is it worth it or should I stick to whole foods or straight up whey protein shake? I'm not willing to sacrifice my health for convenience.

If you have no prior conditions like a family history of diabetes sugar is completely fine to consume. Honestly, people over think post workout nutrition... a whey protein isn't better or worse than just eating whole food.. it boils down to convenience.0

Ok, but how am I supposed to know what % of that sugar is refined or from the fruit? That's my concern.0
