Tips for not eating, when you know you shouldn't!

By this I mean, I've had my calories but a bad day! So I was diving into the chocolate, not because I was hungry... Just because it was there!!

Sooo, I brushed my teeth so now I won't eat chocolate as it would taste horrible.

Anyone else do anything? Or got any tips?

    have an apple instead and drink water

    I do the brush the teeth thing too.......and slam the water, as much as you can.......

    Yeah - similar. I go and grab a glass of ice cold water. Then tell myself if I still REALLY want the choc in10 minutes then I will have a small piece. The craving has generally gone by then :)

    if it's late enough then i just turn off the tv and turn off the lights and shut my eyes. sometimes that's the only way to keep myself from throwing everything in the fridge down my piehole
  • Brush your teeth, chew gum, paint your nails, put on a face mask, say your rosary ;o)
  • When water or teeth brushing is not enough I put on crest whitening strips, keeps me from eating and I get whiter teeth, seems like a win win...but I have been known to break down and eat a little chocolate afterwards at the end of a really terrible day.

    Put on a pair of gloves.

    Drink hot green tea,no sugar, it helps me

    Whatever it is, put it in the freezer.
    ....I guess that also has the potential to end badly if you decide to try to eat it frozen.
