Slim Series?

I was wondering if anyone has done the Slim Series and what they think about it. I know theres lots on here about Slim in 6 which I have and used it for a long time. I loved it and had pretty good results from it but I got bored with it, doing the same workout day after day, and haven't used it in awhile and now I just mix it in with other workouts. Did you have good results? Is it worth it to buy? I understand that it is a follow up to SI6, right? I assume since theres a bunch of different workouts, it's not as boring as SI6.

Thanks!:glasses:

I've been doing Slim Series for the last couple of months, and I love it! It's much more fun than Slim in 6. In my opinion, it's not as challenging cardio-wise as Burn It Up, but it gives you much better strength-training exercises than SI6. My legs are in phenomenal shape, and I credit Slim Series with that. I'm going to set SI6/SS aside for a while now to do another round of P90X, because I like to mix things up, but I guarantee I will go back to Debbie when I'm done!

Thanks for that, Jill ~ I've read all your posts about Si6 and I've decided to do it before I tackle the P90X program. I checked out the link you sent the other day about the fitness test and that sealed my decision! My order came in today and I'm geared up!

I just wanted to jump in and add my 2 cents. Slim Series is awesome! Way more variety than SI6 because you're working with 6 different dvds (thank goodness!!!). As far as results go, my thighs have been transformed; even those dreaded 'saddlebags' are pretty much gone now. And my waist has really shrunk - she works the abs in every workout. However if it's pure intense cardio that you're after, only one of the 6 dvds rivals BIU and that's Tear it Up. The others have some cardio in there, but most of the time your heart rate is kept up soley by the resistance moves. The workouts are also a bit longer, from 57 - 78 minutes total. But worth every minute!

It comes with the Slim Series Slimming Guide, which has schedules for multiple programs depending on what you want to do. You can auto schedule the most intense of the programs on the Beachbody website: http://www.teambeachbody.com/get-fit/supergym/auto-schedule
