weight won't drop

i've been using the MFP app to log my calories and i've been keeping up with what it's been telling me in terms of how much to eat, but my weight won't drop. i do cardio 3 times a week and lift 3 times a week but i don't really feel like i'm getting leaner, like i don't think the weight is coming from muscle. so then i get frustrated and the past few days have been eating more junk food just because i'm annoyed the weight won't drop. i really just want to lost like 5-10 pounds in the next two months but it won't budge.
any suggestions?

I am in a similar position. Started with only wanting to lose 10 lbs. I have only lost 4 since 1st of January so it bums me out. I feel like I eat nothing (sticking to at 1200 cal diet) I do the elliptical in the morning, and I run on the treadmill in the evening. It is hard to stay motivated but we can stay away from the junk food!0

how long have you been doing the cardio/lifting? on average, it takes a person about a month to 6 weeks for THEM to notice a difference, mainly because you see your own body every day. try high intensity interval training for the cardio (you can look up diff workouts for this) instead of just running or the bicycle, or whatever other cardio you have been doing. just don't get discouraged!
eating 6 small meals a day is better than 3 big meals a day too. also, the heavier you are.. the easier it is to lose the weight. so if you are a smaller build person, with a lighter weight... itll take a little while longer to lose the pounds as opposed to somebody who is 200 pounds and 5'5". You also don't want to lose more than 3 pounds/week (this is solely MY opinion) because then you end up with more loose skin in the end. its unhealthy to lose TOO much too fast. so keep an eye on it.

Meal timing and frequency is irrelevant from a weight loss standpoint. Do what makes you feel best.
How long have you been at it? I would think 1 lb a week loss would be a good goal, since you have so little to lose. You don't have to give up anything to lose weight. Just be diligent in logging accuracy and make sure you don't overestimate burns. What is your calorie goal set at? Also, read this
