Hey, guys. I know it's really lame question, but I was wondering something for awhile...
I chew SUGARLESS "Orbit" gums very often (they keep me fresh) like 1 package almost everyday. Somewhere I've read that I shouldn't counting calories on gum, because you basically burn them while you chew it. Other are saying that if you eat gum often you should log it? I don't know what to do?
On Orbit's package says that's 160 calories per 100 gr and one package is 13,6 ... so this means one package is like 23 calories, right?

I'm wondering the same thing. I never logged my gum but just realized the three pieces of sugarless gum I chewed today, which I thought were zero calorie sticks, are about 5 each, so that's 15 calories. When you only get 1200 a day, that adds up.
And no, I don't feel like going back through a bunch of old forum posts right now to read the answer. I'm at work and don't have time for that, ha ha!0 -
I log gum. They are in the DB. Many of the sugarfree are about 5 cals.0

            I log my gum. I could easily go through a pack a day, that's 15 pieces X 5 calories. I don't leave 75 calories leeway every day.0

i log it too. like another person said...sugar free gum is still about 5 cals a piece and if you only eat 1200 cals a day, it adds up. I have also heard that you burn the cals you ingest, by chewing it...but I personally would rather just log it and if i burn them off then i am under for the day. do i think not logging it and having an extra 30 gum cals a day is going to keep you from losing weight? no! but, it doesnt hurt to log it anyway.
rambling over

I log gum! I also log coffee, even though I drink it black it's about 2 calories per cup.0
