does it really work???

i have about 24lbs left to lose to be at the lower end of ideal weight(126lbs/9st) but i need to tone up alot too....i'm getting married in 6weeks so really need something that will get rid of the love handles!

i have seen people talking about the 30day shred and have found it on amazon quite cheap

is there anything else that is quite 'quick working' people can suggest(im not after a quick fix and am willing to work hard for it)

am in the UK so that will probably make a difference to availability of some stuff!

    I really liked this DVD. I definitely saw a difference in the tone of my arms and some changes in my legs. It is a great dvd and not super hardcore like Insanity or P90X. I don't think I am ready for those yet. LOL

    It does really work! The first time I did it I lost more than 3% of my body fat and built a good amount of muscle, not to mention lost some weight as well (maybe like 5-7 lbs.). If you're wanting more of a challenge and really want to push yourself, though, I highly recommend two other DVDs also by Jillian Michaels: Banish Fat Boost Metabolism and No More Trouble Zones. They're both ~50 minute workouts (about 42 minutes exercising and 10 minutes stretching). The former is a killer cardio workout and the latter combines strength and some cardio. If you try any of these and make sure to eat right you will see results! Good luck!
  • I lost about 9lbs in the 30 days.....but was doing other exercise too, jogging a few times a week etc. BUT I toned up a LOT.! I am still jiggly because there is still a lot of me left :happy: but even a co worker noticed how tomed my upper arms were getting, without me prompting her by telling her about my working out etc. You dont lose as much as the case promises, but I really enjoyed it and even though its only 20-25 mins you feel youve worked really hard. Plus, I managed to stay motivated to do it everyday which I never thought possible! If you can get it cheap, its a good deal (also, I dont have any handweights so just used extra large baked bean tins instead!)

    It works for those who will dedicate themselves to the program and watching their diet. It's a solid workout.

    If you stick to it for the full 30 days then you get some really good results. It tones you up all over, I've lost my back hugging love handles and my saddle bags have nearly gone.

    Its only #6 ish on amazon and as its only 22mins for the workout its great to do. well worth it. i'm doing my last day tomorrow and will hopefully be posting some new measurements after doing the whole 30 days. But alot of people have some amazing results - check out youtube for some before and after pictures of various people.
