Bloating

I start my menstruation cycle in about four to five days, and for the past week or so, I've been bloated like a balloon.
This usually happens to me, so this isn't unusual. I just want to see tips on making this go away.

I have tried drinking a lot of water, but it made my bloat bigger! I felt like my stomach was tight and I was very uncomfortable.
Exercising does the trick, but after I eat, I look like I'm five months pregnant.

Does eating fruit prior to a menstruation cycle make you bloat up more?
I'm not really sure, but I feel like the banana I ate earlier made my food baby look like it was ready to burst out.

I swell all over when on my cycle. Have you tried fresh lemons in your water?

Bloating to the point of looking pregnant after eating sounds like gluten sensitivity to me

Carbs cause water retention. Sodium causes water retention. Hormonal fluctuations cause water retention. Overeating can cause bloating. Fiber can effect bloating. There's a billion different reasons that you could be bloated or retaining water.
