What is your height and weight?

Are you exercising, and if so are you accounting for said calories.

What is your goal set for, 2lbs per week?

You're young and don't have a lot of weight to lose. It sounds like you're being too aggressive, but it's tough to say for sure without a little more info.

    Not enough calories?
    Gave up caffeine?
    Low blood sugar?
New allergy to artificial additive in something new you're eating/drinking?

With 17lbs to lose, 2lbs a week is too aggressive, and 1200 is too low. Change your loss goal to a half pound a week, 1 lb at the most, and make sure you eat back calories burned through exercise.

    Food is fuel!

    You simply don't eat enough.
Contrary to popular belief, 1200 calories really isn't enough and will only slow your metabolism down on the long run. 2 pounds a week isn't always appropriate, depending on your weight.

    Eat your veggies. :)

    You can eat everyday food.

2lbs a day is too aggressive.
Use a HR Monitor or Enter your exercise in MFP, eat back 50-75% of exercise calories to make sure you're fueling your body. I say 50-75% more for if you enter your exercise into MFP as it can grossly over exaggerate caloric burns.

I personally set my daily activity to moderate so I don't have to enter my exercise cals.

I get headaches if I eat under 1600 calories a day. It took me a while on MFP to find my magic number, but that's what it is.

I had headaches every night around the same time when I first started back. I never did figure out what it was, I'm guessing my body wasn't used to the reduction in calories and lack of simple carbs and processed sugar. In other words: I was eating like **** and my body didn't like that I was forcing it to change.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand like always, 1200 is pretty low, if MFP did indeed give you that number, make sure you eat all of it, not like 1000 or 1100.
