Yoga and strict calorie count - MOTIVATION

Hi everyone! I have recently fallen in love with yoga! I have made it a goal to go at a minimum 3 times per week. Also, I'm working with a dietician and am trying to stick to a strict low calorie diet. I have already lost 4lbs since last week  I'm excited and motivated to keep going.

I was doing MediFast last year and lost about 30lbs. I had to stop doing it because it was SO expensive! Once I stopped, I ended up gaining about 20lbs back, grr! So now, since I'm a veteran, I'm taking advantage of the free programs the VA offers. Plus doing my yoga!!

This is my year! I will do it this year! All motivation is much appreciated!!

By the way, my favorite form of yoga is hot yoga.

Way to go! I've been doing a lot of hot/bikram yoga at my local studio, too. I find that taking a variety of different classes (if they are available to you) keeps you exploring new postures and forgotten muscles, plus it doesn't give your body a chance to get too comfortable with a set of postures and get lazy.
For me, the best way to get to a healthy weight and lifestyle hasn't come from supplements or fad diets, but from eating whole foods and cutting out anything and everything from a package. That's great that you have someone that you can talk to about that!
Good luck, and thank you for your service!
