"Fight!"... when I want to stop walking, when I want to eat crap.
"This is as bad as it can get"... when walking through pain... my (whatever I want to moan about) can only get so bad"
Haven't been at this for long... but so far this is the stuff I find myself saying to myself, when I am shutting up the inner b!tch in me that has the balls to think she still controls my actions! ( I scorn and mock her attempts)

OBSESSED is a word the lazy use to describe the DEDICATED.

Those who think they have no time for exercise will sooner or later have to find time for illness.......

You're not going to get the *kitten* you want sitting on the *kitten* you have

I saw this somewhere on MFP and I think of it often

    Just do it!

Its commercial but I still like it.

It's a little cheesy, but it works for me, too. It's similar to what I tell myself (and others) when one of us needs a little push: "Let's just DO this!" or "We got this!"

I use a lot of these but my favorite is:

Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out.

I just keep reminding myself that each good decision I make is getting me that much closer, and each bad one sets me back that much farther. You're made up of the decisions you make, they may as well be healthy ones :D

(I'm tucking this thread away somewhere for motivation later)

If you still look cute when you're done, you didn't workout hard enough

If you keep doing what you've always done, you'll keep getting what you always get

You choose to be what and who you are today

I work in a critical care unit of a hospital. I see patients every single day who are there because of poor life decisions regarding their diet and activity levels. I often think to myself "I don't want to be a patient here." I really don't. Hospitals are horrid places even to those of us who call them home 40+ hours a week. Just last night, a grown man had to ask for help wiping his own bottom because he was too overweight to reach it. Perhaps my motto will be "I will never be too fat to wipe my own *kitten*!"
