Special K is terrible and full of carbs and sugar. How are you currently making your shakes?
With Chocolate you can do a lot one of my favorites is simple:
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
Ice (I use 8-10 cubes)
1 Cup Spinach
1 Tablespoon Butterscotch Jell-O Sugar Free Pudding Mix
1 Cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
Walden Farms Caramel Syrup0 -
My two favorites are Raw Fit and any flavor of Plant Fusion. Both are clean, vegetarian protein powder blends that are free of soy, wheat and dairy.0

A little low fat vanilla soymilk, or vanilla almondmilk
1 scoop of chocolate muscle milk
1banana
1tablespoon on crunchy reduced fat peanut butter
Ice

Hiya
I use JuicePLUS - you can choose what to mix them with (come in Vanilla or chocolate), there are some great recipes (including adding fresh fruit).
My favourite is:
Vanilla powder
200ml Alpro Dark Chocolate Almond Milk
100 ml water
crushed ice
& blitz!
I have been told (but haven't tried yet) that if you then add orange essance, it tastes like a terry choc orange, or peppermint essence for an Aero! lol
The complete shakes have 4 uses:
1) weight control (full of nutrients & can be used as a meal replacement
2) Pre exercise energy drink
3) Post exercise recovery drink
4) Nutritional supplement
It's 16.50 for a tin (12 servings per tin).
(I am a rep for them - but if you check my diary you will see that I use the products myself on a daily basis).

I love love love Vemma Bode Chocolate Ice Cream shakes... I drink at least one a day and make it with 2% milk. For a total of 16 grams of Protein. Add mix to milk in a container and shake it up, so easy.0

I have created something pretty tasty from my yucky chocolate powder (also forget the name).
1 scoop yucky powder
couple handfuls of ice
1 cup of milk (choco is great - white works too though)
2 small oatmeal cookies
2 tablespoons peanut butter
400 cals +/-
PB and oatmeal really mask the flavor of the yucky powder.0 -

I think banana would be a great addition to my oatmeal PB shakes!0
