Newbie here. 56 y/o female, been doing Crossfit x 2 years, (3-5 days/week) love it and have done food challenges mostly Paleo but not strict, I am a night eater and crave carbs at night. My body has changed some but not nearly what I would expect. No wt loss but more muscle. I love fat....wonder if it is too much (mayo, high phenolic olive oil, some butter, some PNButter).Chicken and salad/veggie til I am sick of it. Don't eat out much, but need to keep it simple easy food wise. I am mostly gluten free, some dairy. Not enough veggies. Been hitting ~1600-2000 cal/day.
Don't care about the scale too much....well I am a woman.... I want my six pack back...but not happening. Also tired all the time but people say I have good energy. But something is missing. I know this is vague and all over the place, but need support and suggestions.
BMR 1369 TDEE 2123 15% cut 1823 5'4" 157 lb. 30%body fat. 34"waist (dang it). thanx guys.

Being tired all the time is not a very good sign. May be adrenal fatigue. And you should talk to your doctor about it.

It may be time to weigh food. I'm doing a program now (day 4) and I'm using containers for food and I Must have been 'assuming' wrong before because my calories seem similar when I log but my belly is telling me otherwise (hunger wise lol)

I'm going for close to a six pack... flat would be good but I've Never had it in my life.

You're a cross fit girl, you can do anything!

since you are only 5'4", U think about a 1350-1400 calories is more appropriate for your size....

I could be eating more than I think I am but if I cut down, I really crave.

possibly, that is part of my confusion. I am currently doing pretty consistent 5 days, sometimes 4 of Crossfit so feel I need the fuel. There is a competition beginning next week as well.
Calorie restriction is something I would obviously prefer not to do.....I will need to continue to experiment and document.
