Help with Calories!?

Hi guys and gals!
So I'm fairly new at this, not fitness but using my fitness pal... and I'm so confused as to what Calorie Deficit means.... this is my stuff

What does my daily calorie defecit mean!? I eat the proper amount of calories everyday, which is 1420, and I burn roughly 400-500 calories a day with exercise. Helppp!

    Your calorie deficit will be 1000 cal/ day, so you burn 1000 calories more than you consume.
    Your body needs an individual amount of calories to keep everything working, all the muscles and organs and to keep it heated. Then it needs extra calories when you exercise. But when you consume less calories, your body needs to get that energy from reserves - which is fat.
    1kg of fat is about 8000 cal
