Corn-grain or veggie?

This is a question I started looking into today. And honestly, it can and is both. But, if you are grain free, do you still eat corn products such as white corn tortillas? Do you still have corn on the cob?

Corn is a grain.....and eating it depends on what your goals are, I guess. I eat it in small quantities.0

corn is technically a fruit
eat whatever you want0 -
Corn is definitely a grain. Our mothers lied to us. That's OK, mine does that a lot.0

I don't sweat the small stuff, but do try to stay away from corn.0

I try to always watch what I eat. You might grab something nasty when you are distracted.
Why are you "watching"? If there is a medical reason, you should probably stay away from corn. If it is a fad, meh, adjust to suit you and your lifestyle.0 -
I don't eat pineapple on my pizza (always made with extra tomato sauce) because fruits make you fat...
to be serious though, corn is kinda like some view peanuts, even if it's technically not, it's what it counts as in reality. (where peanuts are technically legumes, but nutritionally similar to other nuts)0 -
It's a grain. I eat mostly grain-free and do not include corn in my everyday diet.0

I consider it a grain but serve it as I would a vegetable. I don't tend to eat it frequently, though, because although I love it I know it's mostly starch.0

You might want to try a Whole30 to help you determine the cause of your stomach issues.0 -
I will look into that. Thank you!0
