My Introduction

Hi everyone. I'm Greg.. I'm 43, a short fella @ 5'7" & weighing in at a whopping 215lbs.. I've finally hit the point of "something needs to be done"
I've never questioned what I ate and never really exercised (at least not since my early 20's).
My eating habits were ghastly.. I would sit down and eat 6-8 hotdogs (with cheese & ketchup) or a whole bag of mini-donuts, that could happen sometimes twice a day. On top of that 2-3 sodas and/or 4-5 glasses of sweet tea.. as I said ghastly.. I struggled with depression.. sometimes laying in bed all day. I'd completely avoid my friends. I was on a path to nowhere.
Then I met a girl.. we dated for 3 years.. things started to finally turn around.. well, that ended and I saw the signs of going back to my old ways.. I didn't want that to happen.. I am an avid reddit user and I started seeing more "progresspics" and those were inspiring.. I took a "before" shot of myself and was just floored.. that was it.. I'm changing it all.
I'm two weeks in now. I've completely changed my diet (nothing but fish, chicken, fresh veggies, some fruit, and some plain greek yogurt, and oatmeal, almonds). I picked up a kitchen scale, I'm weighing my food now. Tracking everything I eat.
I've started going to the gym 3 times a week. Which I'm loving..
I can say I feel a lot better already.. I've not lost any weight though.. I'm sure that will come.
Anyway.. that's me.. if anyone would like to add me, feel free. I get inspired by others and I like to try to inspire people myself..
