Decided to go public with contract

I decided that the best way to stick with a 6 week program it's to go public with it, because how many times have your family and friends heard you said I am doing this diet or program for sure. They are probably going to say yeah, yeah...I heard that before.
My daughter had shown me that the best way it's to show people what you're eating or doing, exercising ot not.
So I am following her example and I am signing a contract with myself and the mfp community to solemnly swear to complete the Unleach your thin program exactly as outlined, this include:
to complete all the phases 1 preparation exercises, bulletproofing my mind and the environment, follow the phases 2 and 3, listen to the bulletproofing your mind cds, 3 times a week.
To remember the reasons I am doing this program, especially when I am tempted to stop doing it.
Recognized the negative thinking and doubts, honor these feelings, but not allow them to control my actions, to remember that "feelings are not facts".
To look honestly at my behavior and feelings, no matter what comes up.
Refuse to let toxic influences interfere with my resolve to complete this program.
Make my word law in the universe by doing what I say I will do.
Not drop out without discussing this with at least one other person or the mfp community.
Re-read this contract before I break any of the promises or ignore any of the assignments.

Good luck with everything. I am here for similar reasons. I have read that people who are successful with long term weight loss have several things in common and two of those things are logging your food and making a public commitment - so that's why I am here. It helps to have other people looking at my food choices and I can see theirs to see what others are doing. I have failed more times than I can count - committed to making it work this time.0
-
I find that I need some accountability also to face weight loss challenges. Go You!!! (And keep it simple)0

I think it is really great that you are committing to yourself to make this happen! Stay focused!0

Cheers (And Slainte, Iechyd da, Salute, Prost, et.al) to you!!! Best of luck!!!0

This week is all going to be about mindset, I have been listening to cd's and doing some soul searching, what triggers what, the landmines I want to avoid and the buried treasure is so I can leverage that for success.
The landmines are toxic foods, toxic relationships, toxic situations, my stressful situations, my toxic routines, my toxic beliefs, my toxic feelings, and my points of pain. Wow that is going to take a while to figure it out.
Now lets see about the buried treasures are my treasured foods, my treasured relationships, my treasured situations, my relaxing situations, my treasured routines, my treasured beliefs, my treasured feelings, my points of pleasure (this are activities that makes you happy), and my mental candy (this is things you love to think about, daydream about and fantasize about...)
Humm...a lot to think about.0 -
Hi! I love how brave you are to share your contact and thoughts. I am going to send you and lindanewland 37 friend requests. I'm a bit shy so haven't sent any yet. I'm 61 and have more to lose than my ticker probably shows. Celebrated 1st grandchild with a Milky Way and pizza yesterday but it was my first big overage in a month. It was a conscious decision. Back on track today. Hope you accept my request. You rock!0

I have not posted for a couple of days, but I have been busy setting everything up for Monday... I have listen to the CD's, done all the quizzes, tweaked the menu to my liking (don't like tofu) and made my grocery list for tomorrow, so I will be ready Monday! I am all pumped up!.0
