gift ideas!
what would YOU like to give and or receive that is a fitness/weightloss type present?

getting us started, some things are my wish list, some are things i love that i love and think would make a great gift :)

a heart rate monitor
more Injinji socks
a JetBoil hiking stove
pepper spray
a utility knife (hiking!)
snowshoes
a rain cover for my pack
thermarest sleeping pad
ground cloth for my hiking tent
a trailguide/map/book for local hiking trails
base-layer pants and mockneck shirt
wool hiking socks
a kayak
a gift card to EMS, Campmor, sporting goods store or the like
riser for the Wii Fit board (step)
yoga class tuition paid
new power cord for my recumbent bike
large mirror for exercise room
5k, etc race entry fees paid
handwarmers
camelbak elixir tablets
a variety of protein bars (stocking stuffer/gift basket)
vouchers for babysitting so i can go on my adventures :love:
vouchers for going WITH me on adventures :love:

    it sure is! Thats why my WISH list is so long ;) ... and hiking is an expensive hobby to get set up in!

    lol but here is my real list:
    gym membership
    purple (they HAVE to be purpe) dumbells
    a purple (again with the purple lol) yoga mat
    a nice purple water bottle
    work out shoes (work out clothes in general)
    a scale for me
    a food scale
    veggies!!!!
    raw salmon and squid sushi lunch every day (lol or once a week, heck i'll take once a month!)
    greek yogurt!

    the veggies reply reminded me of a gift i gave my mom 2 years ago: a CSA share! Yummy veggies!!!

    My santa wishlist is short but sweet!

    - Kettlebells 10, 15, 20 and 35 pounds
    - A watertank BMI test
    - Another year on my CSA box (the box I received today is Excellent!)
    - Jillian Michaels new Wii fitness game (don't remember the title)
    - New running shoes whenever I want
    - Personal training sessions
    - Socks, socks, socks!
    - A fitness buddy who doesn't quit
    - One unassisted pull-up

    Ah the holidays :) here's my wishlist!
    - adidas track pants
    - exercise shorts!!!! (this is crucial)
    - p90x videos
    - sports bras that will actually support the girls and not make it look like I'm preparing for take off
    - lulu lemon headband

    I can't wait for the break from school and work. Thank goodness it's coming soon :)
