I don't have access to a gym and my time for working out is limited. My fitness is terrible, especially stamina and arm strength. I can't even do a single push-up properly.
I am going to take up weekly karate (1 hour), but what exercises can I do at home which won't kill me in the first few weeks and won't eat into my time? I'm sure this is a very common question, but I am finding it difficult to know where to start, especially as I hate exercising due to my lack of fitness.

If you like videos, try some of the beginner-level Fitness Blender videos on Youtube. I am in the same boat--I cannot do a single push-up! But I've been doing these a couple times a week and it's a great place to start.
 Here's the two that I do most often. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSZj19AUU5I https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSZj19AUU5I https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8A6Uai5sQVw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8A6Uai5sQVw
Both focus on cardio, but they include body weight resistance stuff, too, which is great. Try them and see.0

Im not sure what you mean by "exercise that won't eat into your time" ... but there's a load of resources on this thread for exercising at home:flowerforyou: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1036373-lifting-without-a-gym0

Visit your local library and check out their fitness dvd collection. Try a few until you find out what you like. And when in doubt, walking is a great place to start. If the weather in your area is poor, mall walking is good, if a bit cliche.0

I mean that I don't have the time to go jogging/cycling/walking for 2 hours
