Personal Blender

So, I absolutely love blending veggies fruit and ice together for a morning (or night) breakfast or snack-Has anyone heard if it really is better for you to blend stuff?

I started to blend my soups up and it actually does TASTE better... creamier but i wonder is it really better.

The Nutribullet infomercials claim that it's better - provided that you use their blenders, of course - but I don't think it makes a difference. Whether you chew it or let the blender "pre-chew" it, the food winds up in the same place.

I like blending too. My morning smoothie was a blend of coconut milk, protein powder, hemp seeds, chia seeds, flax seeds, a banana and two cups of strawberries. Except for the milk and fruit, you wouldn't want to eat that stuff by itself. But all blended together it tasted like a milkshake.

I know it's super weird but my mom suggested to me to take a can of the Lite Progresso beef pot roast soup and blend it in my Oster Personal Blender I can't really digest red meat very well so I figured I'll give it a try and usually my moms not right about a lot of things no ofense I love her but she's kind of always wrong about most things I think she was right though she told me it tasted better creamier like its a cream based soup without all of the cream and she was told by her doctor that by blending these things it helps it go through the body quicker

That makes sense Bunny. And I can see how food would be easier and quicker to digest. If you have digestion problems that could be a good thing. If you want your smoothie to satiate your hunger over a long period, say until your next meal, then it might not be such a good thing.

I love blending vegies, fruit ect. I usually do it everyday. Do I think its better....it is for me. You can't eat salads all the time as they get boring. I make my green smoothie as an am snack. It has 4 ounces of orange juice, spinach ( hand full) red kale ( not as bitter as green) water, flax oil ( or seeds....or sometimes chia seeds....just beware that if you pre- make that hours before you drink it....those seeds seem to exand) and finally I add strawberries...just 4 or 5. Doesn't look pretty....but taste great.

My orotein smoothie( after workouts) 4 ounces lite almond milk, 8 ounces water, 1 scoop body fortress chocolate powder, 2 sppons of pb2 (love that stuff), any seeds or oil ( not much those have fat and calories), and ice. Perfect!
