In need of a better support system

Hey all.. So i am trying to lose the weight. I NEED to lose the weight. 25, diabetic, high cholesterol...
My family aren't that supportive. I am the only one who is over weight and they just dont know what its like for me.
I am looking for people who can support me along this long journey of mine... people who know what i am going thru and know that it can be, at times, easier said than done.
Can someone out there help me?
