When making a recipe?!

The recipe TOTAL is what you're going for -- so put everything you put in the recipe (ie all five carrots) and then when you enter the amount of servings you got from the recipe, it will automatically divide the recipe total to equal one serving. make sense?0

When making a recipe when you select what you are cooking with, lets say carrots. If i put 5 carrots into my recipe do i put 5 servings? or one serving?
I go by the gram weight of each ingredient and use the gram value for that ingredient. An alternative method but not as accurate is to go by measuring cups and spoons.0 -
