Planning meals and uncertainties

I have a business meeting at 11am and I am not sure whether they are planning on including lunch as part of this meeting. I had breakfast at 6:30 (about 300 cal) and I don't want to overdo the food for the day, but if the meeting doesn't include lunch, I am worried I may have adverse effects due to not eating for such a length of time (I get low blood sugar and need to eat relatively regular).
So, would you eat a small snack (say grapes for 60cal) or a protein bar (170-200cal) before going there, on the chance that lunch is not included, or just go without eating anything and hope that lunch is included?
It's more about not wanting to feel light-headed due to not eating anything (and not being able to concentrate on the meeting) vs not being able to eat at a lunch because I'm not hungry and risk offending the team.

Yes have a snack to keep your energy up and hold you until you can eat a sensible meal.0

I agree. Have some snack before the meeting so you don't get hypoglycemic but don't get super full, either. If there is food, you can enjoy it then, if not, you're not starving and can have your lunch afterwards.0

What if you put a protein bar in your purse. If there is no lunch, excuse yourself to the "bathroom" and down the bar. If lunch is served, then you haven't filled up.
Or you could eat the bar and if lunch is served, you won't be as hungry and will be less likely to overeat if it's not the most healthy lunch.0 -
So you guys would recommend going for the protein bar option rather than the grapes? I know it's only about 100 cal difference ... and I can probably adjust for that amount later in the day, but wasn't sure whether I should go for more protein (the bar) or more carbs (the grapes)0
