I have lost 31 lbs since Sept of 2013 but none of it has been around my tummy. I've lost inches from my legs, butt, arms, and chest but I can't seem to lose around my gut. Thirty pounds donw and I still wear the same size pants. Granted, they fit much better but I was expecting to be a couple sizes down. How can I get my weight loss to focus on my mid section?

Keep working at it. Sadly our bodies let go of fat where they want to. My midsection only starts to lean out after the rest of me has shed pretty much all it can. Nothing I can do but keep plugging along.
  • Sorry. You can't. Your genetics determine where you fat comes from when you start burning it. Just keep going in the direction you're going and you'll eventually get where you want to be. You're already half-way there, according to your ticker. Keep it up, you're doing great!

Yup...what they said. When I first started losing it mostly came from my upper body (face, chest, a little belly) but my pants were still snug. Then it seemed like within a few more months my pants started feeling super loose. Just keep at it and I'm sure you'll see changes in your waistline soon enough.
