type in Hooters Nutrition into google and look at the nutrition on their menu items. That's what I do before I go out to eat.

    Grilled Chicken salad = 265cal

    or

Double order of steamed shrimp = 180cal

I would see if you can view their menu online. Sometimes restaurant chain restaurants also have nutritional info posted on their menu items. Going in with a plan is always the best strategy for me. If possible order before you drink as there is an inverse correlation between the amount of alcohol consumed and my will power. Have fun!

Get a Guinness instead... much better tasting and better for you then Coors Light, and is only 10 more calories.

Does hooters sell anything other then buffalo wings, because that is all I have ever gotten there. I would assume they have some sort of chicken wrap or chicken salad that might not be too bad.

Just don't forget to tip well so the girls can keep your heartrate up

I agree - this is a great website for restaurant nutritional information. I use it often - especially when I was on weight watchers!

    Cheers!

I hope their food is better than their service. Went about 6 years ago, they forgot my daughter's order. Sat there with a group of people for over an hour as they brought one plate at a time. After an hour, I asked where Holland's order was. "Oops. I didnt' get it. Want me to take it now?"

Took her next door to Olive Garden. Never went back to Hooter's. Never will.

I searched it on the web: type into Google (or other) - Myfitnesspal Hooters

But you can get to the 'list' in Myfitnesspal by going to FOOD>Databases then scroll all the way to the bottom the page and click on Brands. Then you have to page through everything to get to the page in alpha order.

Not just for restaraunts but for stuff like Oscar Meyer, Tyson's, etc...

Hot wings are roughly 70-100 calories/piece. You don't need to dip them because they're so flavorful on their own.

ENJOY!!! Wings and beer are the best :)

Glad to hear you had a good experience. Sounds like you did well on the clories too. good for you. I did tell the manager AND I sent them an email. They sent me a coupon for free appetizers. I gave it to my friends.

sort of kind of related - I was shocked (well, not really... fast food / restaurant cals hardly shock me anymore...) at the counts for the bone out garlic parm wings at Pizza Hut - 110 cals per! And they are not big. Serves me right for impulse buying junk food and trying to justify it because it was chicken. Now I know for the future though. I do usually try to look these things up in advance. They were GOOD though. I may have gone over my cals like 300 that day and the fat like... wow..., but I enjoyed it!

I served for years. There are always good days and bad days and good servers and bad servers and sometimes things out of your control. You probably could have (if you didn't) gotten your whole meal comped, which is appropriate mia culpa for a meal where nothing went right. Had you complained to a manager and received poor response that to me would be more cause for a personal boycott or letter of disapproval to corporate (which also prob would have landed you some free meals to make up) than bad experience with one server and maybe some kitchen issues out of their control.

I had to go in to work a full shift only hours after my horse died. I was a wreck and probably did horribly, but I would have gotten fired if I did not show up (it was Christmas Eve so calling in sick would have gotten you fired too). I've also worked shifts where other servers did not show up and I had 10-12 active tables vs a typical 4. And where cooks have gone home sick and one guy is cooking for the whole restaurant until they can get someone in and the servers are trying to do all their own prep work and set up ... i'm just sayin'...
