    Beef.

    I eat it.
    After running.

However, lately.. My knee is all messed, so I just eat it .-. LOL.
-have to get back into it when I heal-

    Can't go without my beef...

I love beer too. I reward myself with one on days when I have extra calories to spare. I've just cut WAY back on the frequency. I think that's the key.

I think completely giving up on something that you enjoy THAT much is not sustainable and will cause you to burn out.

    Good luck!

Wine in the evening. I have one glass and if I want more, I switch to seltzer water over frozen berries.

    Bread.
I don't beat it, I just reduced how much of it I eat.
If I have 2 or 3 vodkas though, I can't stop it. Will eat whole baguettes.
The days I keep the amount of carbs down, I have no crash and I feel less like I'm carrying a brick in my gut. Remembering that feeling helps me say NOOOOOOOO walk away from the bakery.

<--- What she says, (to expand) build your love of cheese and beer into your plan. Instead of just drinking your usual try different cheeses / beers and enjoy them as they were meant to be in moderation. This way you won't have to try to re-introduce these later when you are on "maintenance calories". There is (in my opinion) nothing unhealthy about beer and cheese!
